Carrie brings over a decade of heartfelt leadership and operational expertise to her role as Director of Operations and Finance at The Estuary Center for Healing. Since joining the team in 2012, Carrie has worked hand-in-hand with the Executive Director to nurture the non-profit’s financial health, organizational strategy, and daily rhythm. She keeps The Estuary running smoothly—managing our financial health, website, and physical facility. From budgeting to maintaining our welcoming space and scheduling classes, she blends operational strategy with hands-on stewardship, ensuring our environment and programs provide a strong, beautiful foundation for healing. She thrives on the variety of her days and loves that no two are ever quite the same.
Her path blends corporate structure with a passion for holistic care:
Corporate & Administrative Roots: Holds a B.S. in Human Resources Management and offers 10+ years of corporate HR experience, bringing warm, human-centered systems and structure to the non-profit space.
Integrative Healing & Sacred Study: A proud graduate of the 6-year program at the School of Healing Arts and a trained energy worker, Carrie continues her deep study of Kabbalah under Susan Austin-Crumpton alongside many years of rich coursework at The Estuary.
Beyond her work at the center, Carrie spent a cherished decade devoting her time to raising her two now-adult children, Dasha and Evan. Today, she finds peace and joy on her scenic 100-year-old farm with her husband of over 30 years, John, surrounded by nature, fresh air, four dogs, two cats, and a lively flock of chickens.
